I was employed as a senior business consultant to provide analysis services to (primarily financial) organisations in order to improve their business performance and services. My key focus was around:• Analysis of regulatory surveillance processes (such as anti-money laundering, sanctions screening, market abuse).• The investigation of changes required to implement new legislation on a regional and global level.Projects include:• The review of existing business processes for a global financial institution to accommodate the legislative requirements of the Financial Accounts Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) in terms of business process and potentially, system changes.• The rework of global regulatory surveillance processes to consolidate across single platforms.• Business consulting services for a private bank around the creation and actual implementation of a new retail function. This included requirements sourcing for RFP purposes, defining the product offering, identifying the processes and software needed and highlighting integration requirements.

Contract work at GE Energy to provide quality input into existing and new process within an Agile, Six Sigma and Lean environment.A key focus has been assistance in migrating waterfall processes into iterative Agile processes, while a secondary focus is assisting in and resolving potential issues for external audits.I was further contracted to assist in preparations for ISO9000 and GE Global Audits.

I was contracted to analyse the requirements for, and implement a third-party (ERP) Facilities Management System for the Hammersmith & Fulham Council, and to project manage the technical implementation work streams of the system once the supplier selection process completed. This formed part of the transformational drive within the Council to improve productivity and usability of processes. The budget on this project was predefined and required close management.
