I have explored more shipwrecks using ROV technology than any other marine archaeologist in the world. My high-profile projects include the SS Republic, Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes (The Black Swan) HMS Victory 1744, SS Gairsoppa, SS Central America, RMS Lusitania, 17th and 18th century privateers, WWII German U-Boats, and aircraft wrecks to name but a few. Deep-water shipwreck investigations and salvage attract global media attention. My work continues to be featured in newspapers, journals, podcasts, and TV shows. My expert commentary and advice is sought for university lectures and news, including the recent Titan submersible incident in the North Atlantic.
