Keith McLellan has been an Aviation professional for over 40 years, with over 17,000 hours flying a large number of diverse aircraft types. He has seven FAA type ratings in turbojet aircraft, which include the Boeing 737, various models of the Challenger and Gulfstream series of business jets, as well as the Embraer Legacy 500 / Praetor 600. For the majority of the last 30 years, he has served as the Lead Captain, Base Manager, Chief Pilot or Director of Operations for several operators worldwide, and has considerable international and trans-oceanic experience. Keith's background includes working as a consultant to a California-based engineering firm on several UAV projects, and to several European clients in the purchase or refurbishment of large business jet aircraft. During his tenure at Global Air Link, he was instrumental in helping several clients take delivery of new business jet aircraft, managing the acquisition, acceptance, maintenance, registration and ultimate delivery of the aircraft to the new owners and operators. Prior to the economic upheaval of 2008, Keith led the concept and design of a planned, very large, American-style FBO that was to be based at the London Southend Airport, with Kiev, Ukraine as a follow on location.Keith began his Aviation career working at several of the top FBOs in the United States over a 6 year period, while going to school and working to earn his pilot ratings. His strong work ethic and commitment to customer service was rewarded with several supervisory positions despite his very young age, and his first flying jobs were a result of the recognition by local operators of his professionalism and commitment to Aviation.Keith founded ROV Aerospace to develop several unmanned aircraft that can carry commercially profitable payloads. He has designed 5 unique, very high performance fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs, all capable of carrying large payloads coupled with long range. He has also developed several attractive solutions to the problems of employing such aircraft in commercially viable operations. His designs and certification processes are available to investors who are interested in the drone market.
