- Daily running and Maintenance of the CNC machine and laser cutter.- Programming parts ready for manufacture using AlphaCam, Mecsoft, Maestro, Solidworks and Rhino Software.- Product design of the Return to Sender range of eco-caskets and urns- Casket manufacture and assembly

At my time at the board shop I have learnt invaluable skills to help me in my future endeavours. Not only did I learn about products and service but also being the face of a company. Being in a sales position helped me to learn how to interact with different people, including customers, suppliers and other staff members. I also was given the opportunity to design a new retail counter for use inside the shop. My time at the Roof Rack shop and the Board shop gave me a huge body of knowledge and experience around products, how they are engineered and the materials and technology used to make them. Everything I learnt in this role I can relate directly to design. I believe now that to design a product that will sell, you have to know how it will be sold on the front line to the end user. as well as a clear knowledge of how it will work and how it could be produced.
