Duck is a design project by Rowan Block. Duck has hosted multiple contests, and two pop-up shops, and created one full-length skate video to expand creative opportunities through skateboarding. Today Duck continues to innovate with a focus on CNC flat-packed furniture.

Studied under Erling Chistofferson and Peter Johansen research the impact of Danish Design on the furniture industry throughout the past century. Researched effective flat-pack solutions to create seamless designs that are portable and comfortable.

Crafted relationships between technology and government relations, specifically through the Silicon Slopes program. Worked directly with public policy, non-profit development, and recruiting.

Used fine woodworking techniques to craft artisan Ducks out of 100-year-old fence posts. Worked using highly specialized methods specifically in sanding, with pneumatic drum sander, belt sander, and disc sander.

Renovated two houses over the course of three months. Built ten fences and two decks, and worked on assorted construction projects. Worked on a team of 10 plus and coordinated crews on smaller jobs.
