Glasgow 2014

Coordinated and integrated operations across the Commonwealth Games Athletes Villages, ensuring timely delivery within budget for the 38 hectare Glasgow site of 700 home development, hosting 6,500 residents from across 71 Nations, and supported by a 3,000 strong workforce. Encompassing a large geographic area with Commonwealth Games Village (CGV) as the central keystone in Glasgow; Satellite Shooting Village, Dundee and Satellite Diving Venue, Edinburgh, managing teams at each site.

Volleyball Competition Venue - Earls Court

The Olympic and Paralympic Games are one of the most celebrated global sporting events. London 2012 saw 11,500 athletes competing from across the 204 participating nations and close to 6 million spectators gathering from around the world to view the sport and cultural programme, and earning the title of the Greatest Show on Earth.Hosting one of the largest tournaments with 76 matches, near 600,000 spectators successfully delivered the Olympic Volleyball Competition Venue at Earls Court providing operational leadership of 800 multi-skilled workforce and 1,200 volunteers. Built strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the International Olympic Committee, regularly presenting progress. Led Resident Engagement, Safety Advisory Groups, Major Incident Planning and Response, nominated lead for key agencies and emergency services. Provided strategic link between existing venue client team and LOCOG venue management. Managed principal contractors, integrated overlay with sign off responsibility for install, facilitation between key drivers such as broadcast and sport.
