TheHill Oxford is a health and med-tech accelerator embedded within the Oxford University Hopsitals NHS Foundation Trust, aiming to accelerate the adoption of digital and innovative technologies into the NHS for benefit of patients and staff. As Accelerator Manager, I am responsible for our incubation and acceleration programmes, ranging from a 3-month pre-seed programme linking clinicians with early-stage companies to our flagship market access accelerator - a 7-month accelerator programme that works directly with start-ups and clinicians to accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies into the NHS.

As a part of the world-leading business acceleration team at SETsquared Exeter, I look after early-stage start-up support, start-up pipeline development, and regional partnership activity. In delivering the University of Exeter Enterprise Zone, my role involves forging partnerships with relevant ecosystem players throughout Devon, allowing start-ups to access business support from any part of the county. In addition to this, I lead on the development and delivery of our quarterly Entrepreneurs Workout which recruits up to 10 early-stage start-ups per quarter for a targeted, short-term intervention which may see founders move on to our acceleration programme. Together with the Acceleration Manager and Technology Manager, we work to deliver our award-winning 6-18 month acceleration programme, designed to build strong, sustainable, highly-investible businesses in STEMM industries. This involves the delivery of our structured acceleration programme, as well as providing ad-hoc support through linkages into our network, leveraging resources from the University of Exeter, and providing introductions to the investor community.

Starting in September 2021, I worked as an external consulting project manager, managing the development of a virtual business incubation platform. This involved identifying and managing the development team, building on the work already done to create a UX prototype, and managing the project until the completion of phase 1 at the end of December 2022. The platform went live with first users in October 2022.

As Innovation Lead, I project managed the design and development of a bespoke virtual incubation platform for Riversands Incubation Hub. In addition to this, I worked to develop new incubation programmes and interventions, contribute to bids for funding, and engaged in the continuous improvement and development of existing incubation programmes running at the Hub.

As an SME Service Provider at Riversands Incubation Hub, I lead on delivering entrepreneurial support to SMEs, with a particular focus on developing business models, crafting value propositions, and go to market strategies. This is in addition to managing a cohort of 30+ SMEs as they moved through the Hub's incubation programmes.

As founder, I conceptualised and designed the first product, a CRM product with pre-built analytics for SMEs, and self-funded the development of version 1 of the product.
