More recently I rounded out with Chartered Secretary and AICD to support my role as Company Secretary (plus head of investor relations, legal and risk and compliance) of ASX listed gold miner St Barbara Ltd.I have always enjoyed creating new things in the work environment, such as an organisation wide internal audit or risk management framework from scratch, new policies and procedures to comply with emerging legislation, streamlined management reporting, or a completely new ESG / sustainability report. The pinnacle was creating Australia’s first national indigenous credit union.I believe strongly in the wellbeing and dignity of the individual, which applies to everyone in the workplace, as well as the people they deal with, whether customers, suppliers, regulators, or in the broader community.
