About Rowan Thorley
Hey I'm Rowan. I'm a passionate Software Engineer, At 21 i've been lucky enough to work in a number of companies including Manta 5, Grimmer Motors and at the University of Waikato where I was recognized with the computer science undergraduate scholarship. Through these and my study at the University of waikato, I've had a lot of experience in C#/.NET, MySQL and python backend development, Javascript/React/Front End development, and also in CI\CD i.e. pipelines, docker etc. While Software is my main focus and strong point, I've also had experience (mainly through Grimmer Motors & Manta 5) in Mechanical engineering and in Mechanics (as in workshop repairs/knowledge).I'm hugely passionate about music & guitar and would love to work in the software area of the music industry.
