Responsible for the day to day running of audio visual equipment at The Guardian. Including audio and video recording and editing, video conferencing, IPTV and Crestron systems.

Responsible for the technical running of events in the Society's Ondaatje Theatre, as well as overseeing all AV requirements throughout the building including producing podcasts and video content.

As a self employed musician I have had the pleasure of playing with members of Jamiroquai, Skunk Anansie, The Prodigy and have played various festivals including headlining Download Festival 2010 with 30 Seconds To Mars.Through being my own boss I have learned to become self-motivating and have learned great organisational skills through keeping my own accounts and managing time between various commitments. I have also gained a greater appreciation for a range of musical styles through learning material that I may have otherwise overlooked. Working in various musical projects has also given me an understanding of online distribution methods such as iTunes and Spotify.

Working for Concrete Rose Productions has given me experience in producing audio to a professional standard for various formats, including corporate training videos, feature films and documentaries. I've really enjoyed the process of collaboration, with different disciplines coming together to produce a finished piece of work. The work has given me experience of recording and processing speech recordings to a high professional standard.

I set up Twisted Tiger recording studios with a co-graduate from Brighton University and a local financier in 2010. As a part of the company, my responsibilities include:-Recording, producing and mixing bands and solo artists, which allows me to implement my professional knowledge of music technology and sequencing software such as Logic Pro.-Worked on post production for short films and documentaries.
-Directing sessions in terms of workflow and time management, many projects were run on a tight budget so efficient operation was paramount to a successful project.-Designing promotional material, which has given me a good understanding of Adobe Photoshop and visual design.
-Taking and organising bookings. Co-ordinating clients and producers, ensuring sessions run smoothly.-Developing business strategies.-Maintaining studio equipment and premises to a high standard.-Working within tight timeframes and producing to release date deadlines.

-Teaching gave me the opportunity to work on my communication skills and develop them to a high standard.-Working as a drum tutor has given me experience with working with children of different ages. -It has also given me the ability to explain things very clearly to a range of ages and abilities. -Working within the academy has made me aware of the responsibilities one has when working with children such as appearance and general conduct.
