Rowan is a venture catalyst; consistently investing in, and developing new thought IPs, and catalyzing change in the lives of people and projects she works on. She and her life partner the late Ayman Sawaf spent their 30 years together developing blueprints to empower the evolution of humanity which she is now focused on bringing to the world. Emotional Literacy is at the heart of that - her mission is to bring these tools to the masses. With a background in Production, from TV, video and events to festivals and books, she has built a strong foundation of diverse experience and knowledge all of which has prepared her to be ready to take her company KIDS EQ to the next level.As an Artist: I believe as artists, we stand at the dew line of reality, looking over the edge to that which is beyond our current experience. That which is, as of yet, unknown to our world, our time in history. With our art we try to bring some of what we see back, to be able to share it with an evolving world.My art is born of my spirituality, seeded from images or feelings I have experienced in a meditation, dream or vision, my creativity is where the spiritual truths I believe in come alive for me. It is where they go from being amazing theories into understanding and knowing - they become my own. Creativity is the pulse of my life and has expressed itself in many ways; most consistently through painting, pottery, photography, business, and in the development of new thoughts and structures for humans to elegantly awaken (namely Emotional Literacy and Emotional Alchemy).Where is all Began:I began my business career at the age of 19 when I started my own company importing cutting edge superfoods from the US to UK (Spirulina etc). This led to my participation and co-founding a variety of different companies, in the sustainable living arena. Culminating in a consumer expo in America called "The Wholelife Expo and Conferences".I have been extensively involved in the field of emotional intelligence, from the development of children's TV series, to books and workbooks for kidseq.com, and the co-founding of Feel.org, (the Foundation for Education in Emotional Literacy).The Future:My Long term dream is creating communities that are inspired by living systems. A community that applies the core concepts of Sacred Commerce through an inhouse, community-owned business incubator. A community that supports the abundance and awakening of its members. I am actively pursuing its development.
