The project objective was to develop a redundant server that replicated CTI services and data in case of primary server failure. Custom ReportingThe Custom Reporting project objective was to develop a data replication service to allow customers to create custom reports. The solution used TCP-IP, UDP and SMTP protocols for data transport and ODBC to integrate with MYSQL, Microsoft Sequel Server, Access and Oracle. SNMP Integration The SNMP project objective was to deliver a solution that integrated with current network management tools to allow the monitoring of the Zeacom CTI services. The solution uses the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to provide alerts to application such as HP OpenView. PABX Testing and IntegrationMy primary role at Zeacom involved all Functional, Regression, SIT and Performance Testing of the CTI services using the Magix, Definity and IPOffice PABX platforms. Test Environment Virtualisation A major achievement while at Zeacom was the virtualisation of the test environment using Vmware Server. The redesign took a test lab heavily reliant on physical servers and replaced them using virtual servers. This technology allowed multiple software versions to be tested in a shorter time.
