I oversaw all of BBC Television's social media activity from 2010-2014, working with producers, execs and commissioners to set the strategy of all 120 or so accounts including ones from Eastenders, Doctor Who and The Voice UK. I worked alongside the BBC's senior social media leads to set the direction for the BBC's general approach towards social media.

I am currently BBC Vision’s first point of contact for all social media queries, acting as an internal consultant and liaising with the Social Media Portfolio Executive for BBC Vision, Roo Reynolds, who I answer to directly. BBC Vision is responsible for BBC television output (excluding local, news and World Service television) as well as many stand alone.

Working across the majority of BBC Vision’s social offerings both on and off bbc.co.uk, helping to improve and develop services in numerous ways.

Published and created the web services which support Breathing Places, a BBC learning campaign which aims to get people outside and engaging with nature. Developed a new strategy for Breathing Places web services, and helped to develop various new aspects.Amongst many other things I created "how to guides" telling people how to make a range of bug homes.

I am currently editorial lead on the development of an online arts and culture offering for bbc.co.uk. As well as steering it editorially inline with high level strategy I am also responsible for project management, and pitching to commissioners.

I currently oversee the running of the BBC's alternative culture site, Collective - www.bbc.co.uk/collective. I've worked on Collective since its launch in 2002 and during that time helped it introduce readers to new culture in Britain on a weekly basis. I've also been responsible for making it into an online home for our community of users, who contribute.

Editorial - I commission and write editorial content for BBC Collective, the BBC's interactive culture magazine. My area of expertise lies in fine art, but with responsibilities for content on books and games. Content I commission and create ranges from weekly reviews and features on current British culture, to producing video features and photo.

Moderation of comments made to all BBC messageboards - knowledge of hosting and online community useage.

Assisting in various duties at Bush House research centre, including with Broadcast Press Cuttings and archiving for the Ex-Communist Countries Archive (CARIS).
