I have held roles as National Head of RSM's Professional Services Sector Group which provides advisory services and solutions to growing professional services businesses both UK and international. This includes law firms, consultants, surveyors and architects, and other similar businesses that sell time and expertise. I have worked with many partnerships, LLPs and corporates in this sector, understanding their needs and helping them to achieve sustainable growth. I am an experienced presenter on sector issues, mentor and held the role of Chair of the Legal Finance Forum until March 2023.In addition, I have been extensively involved with RSM's international network, RSM International, and have managed complex global assignments across many sectors. This work has given me real insight into different cultures and regulations, as well as some very good working relationships with international colleagues around the world. This experience has proved incredibly useful in helping clients to expand into global markets and manage their compliance affairs effectively.By way of background, I joined RSM (formerly Baker Tilly) as a partner in their London office in December 2009. Over my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients including AIM listed groups, large private companies, LLPs and owner managed businesses. I thoroughly enjoy working with my clients and my focus is on delivering practical, pragmatic advice. I have also spent 5 years as the managing partner of RSM's Gatwick office, with a remit to significantly grow and develop the office, stepping down from this role at the end of March 2022. This has given me first-hand experience in all aspects of running a business.
