As an Environmental Consultant, I am well versed in a range of disciples, from monitoring, sampling, reporting and ensuring construction/industrial/mine sites meet regulation requirements and implement risk management procedures to ensure the health and safety of their people on the ground. I was engaged as a Hazardous Materials Consultant undertaking monitoring and sampling works.Monitoring included noise, dust, asbestos/air, mould, and occupational ambient office monitoring (temperature/humidity/moisture). Sampling works included water monitoring and soil sampling during ongoing site works, as part of the ongoing compliance framework for the day to day running of the site. Exceedance in chemical receptors would require additional controls be implemented. Post operational sampling works were also conducted (site impact assessments) and/or post clean-up validation sampling works as part of site remediation activities. These types of sites included refinery closures, fuel station clean up works and tip site remediation works.

I completed the Graduate Environmental Scientist program within the Contaminated Land and Environmental, Health and Safety divisions, based in Sydney. The graduate program gave me experience across a range of monitoring and sampling disciplines. Working in team environments, through monitoring and sampling works, we were able to determine the appropriate methods/changes needed for maintain environmental legislative requirements, whilst minimising the Environmental impacts on site.Monitoring and sampling works included air, water and soil.
