Beaumont Polyethylene Expansion Project (BPEX)Client: ExxonMobil Duties and Responsibilities:Directly coordinate with Piping Lead and Supervisor. Responsible for the model quality, control monitoring, model review comment and checker of Piping deliverables. Preparation of Loading and Nozzle and Platform Information. Squad check of P&ID, Vendor drawing and Equipment Layout.

Fort Hills Oil Sand Project, Secondary Extraction Unit;Duties and Responsibilities summary:Coordinate closely with the Piping Lead Engineer and other Disciplines during the FEL phase in the development of Plot Plan, Equipment Layout plan drawing.Participate in the Internal and Client meetings for the study related to equipment location and piping layout during FEL phase and Detail stage.Responsible for the model quality, control, monitoring, preparation of Information drawing to other disciplines of the assigned Area (Solvent Recovery Unit, SRU) from the start of the Project until the Isometric issuance. The SRU unit has more than 35 equipments composed of Column, Vacuum Package, Furnace Heater, Sump Pit with CHD Vessels, Horizontal Drum, Exchangers, Pumps and Miscellaneous equipments.Quality Control and Checker of all Piping deliverable.

Was assigned to client company Qatar Chemical (Q-Chem) as Piping Design Engineer doing all piping field engineering and design activities for their brownfield projects. Duties and Responsibilities summary:Perform site survey for piping modification/addition on existing plant. Decide piping layout, support location and material selection.Perform all pipe loading calculation, 2D/3D drafting of isometric drawings, piping arrangement and special pipe supports, selection of piping materials and components.Update AS-built drawings/documents, check and verify documentsField engineering supports for all piping works/acitivities for brownfield projects.

Project: MDI Train, MMDI Debottlenecking Project (from 350 to 500 metric tons/year) Duties and Responsibilities summary:Work closely with the Piping Lead Engineer in the creation of project deliverables, quality control of project execution and overall project support for FEL and Detail design stage.Estimation of Piping deliverables & man-hours, monitor progress, design changes, take-off of bulk and special parts materials. Prepare piping material list, material requisition and vendor document review.Responsible for the selection of piping critical lines and perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR II (static). Perform field/site engineering works. Site inspections to decide the piping routing, equipment location and pipe support design based on the current plant condition.

Project: TDI (Toluene Diisocyanate) Train, TDA/DNT SAC ProjectDuties and Responsibilities summary:Responsible for the quality check of piping design prior for client model review and issuance of isometric drawings for construction following project standards, specification and procedures.Responsible for the squad check of equipments drawing, review equipment through 3D model, prepare piping information for equipment discipline. Initiate piping model review for client and other discipline.Responsible for the pipe loading calculation for pipe support beam selection and design. Analyzed stress calculation results and applied suitable pipe support design. Check piping flexibility by manual calculation in accordance with code and standards.Act as piping field engineer during construction and perform/resolve all task associated for the installation of piping and pipe supports.

NCP Petrochemical (Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia), Coral Bay Nickel HPP-2 (Rio Tuba, Phlippines) Duties and Responsibilities summary:Responsible for the schedule, monitoring and quality check of piping deliverables. Coordination with other disciplines. Execute planning and management related to piping design.Prepare piping material specification, requisition including technical requirements, vendor technical evaluations and vendor documents review.Responsible for the quality of piping layout, information, piping strength analysis, piping support and general arrangement drawings.

Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia; Project: JCP-Chem, Ethylene Plant (Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia)Duties and Responsibilities summary:Prepare Field changed sheet relating to revision of piping layout, modification of pipe supports and additional special pipe supports using manual drafting and 2D CAD.Prepare site instruction and Technical Information to support piping construction and installation.Test package line checker for process unit, common piperack and tankfarm. Resolve punched items related to piping design, pipeline engineering and coordinate with affected engineering discipline and construction team. Implement and utilizes checking procedure to meet quality assurance requirements.Responsible for piping inspection in hydro testing, flushing, air blowing and steam blowing.Plan & prioritize pipe fabrication, installation on site and pipeline testing . Provides thorough investigation for project requirements including safety and environmental compliance issues.

Project: JCP-Chem, Ethylene Plant (Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia)Duties and Responsibilities summary:Work closely with Piping Area Lead Engineer.Initialized piping layout based on P&ID in accordance with project standards and specifications.Review of equipment drawings and perform equipment 3D CAD modeling.Prepare piping information for other disciplines (Equipment, Civil/Architectural, Instruments/Electrical)in 2D/3D CAD format.Prepare piping information list and layout and document list following standard project procedure.Responsible for support selection, special support sketches and re-routing of lines considering support location.Interprets and evaluates stress/vibration analysis result and provides necessary recommendation on resolving the method of analysis.Review equipment layouts, checked isometric drawings, participate in client PDS Smart-Plant model review and meetings.Quality check of piping deliverables.
