Studying the boiler and understanding how pressurized steam is produced.Performing weekly efficiency testing to ensure boilers are performing at their peak.Monitoring meters and gauges to maintain fuel, chemical and water levels.Routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as replacing defective valves, filters, or steam gauges.Spent some time in the DCS control tower watching the system during operation and attended to any additional breakdowns and keeping a record of service data in logs.
