DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Buying and operations management for numerous branches• Efficient and effective stock management • Employ and train staff• Supervisory role with all NSW and ACT stores, liaising and working with them to maintain successful stock control• Supporting new franchisees learning the business working with shop fitters and store architects to design and project manage the refitting of a number of stores• Seconded to research and report on POS computer systems for company stores, finally recommending a system which was successfully installedACHIEVEMENTS• Worked with designers on a new shop fit out and redesign for both Bulk Books and the Macquarie store• Bulk Books won numerous merchandising awards• Strong growth in sales resulted in a doubling in the size of the Macquarie store• Worked with ABC Enterprises to open the first ABC Centre in Australia within the Macquarie store.
