Psychiatrist with Community Mental Health Team

Initially primarily responsible for Titration Clinic and basic psychiatric management- initiating patients onto opiate substitutes and addressing common comorbidities. This rile developed rapidly into a multi layered senior medical job closer to thatnof Associate Specialist. I have become familiar with a wide variety of mental health problems associated with addiction.l? treatment and therapy and work closely with all areas of multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcome for individual clients. I was also jeavily involved in day to day management, support and organisation of the team and have extensive experience 'acting up' with significant responsibilities eg. court reports, complex patient management, medical advisory role to team and liason with other specialities.

Time spent working as both inpatient speciality doctor in a mixed adult unit, and later outpatient General Adult Psychiatrist at mid-grade level in rural setting. Extensive on call experience.
