I'm Rowen, a Studio Artist, Content Creator, and Curatorial and Creative Director. In 2022, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition to my artistic practice, I specialize in creative direction and social media content creation.Since the beginning of 2022, I have been the Curatorial and Creative Director for The 525, a non-profit art organization in Saskatoon that is dedicated to uplifting emerging artists in our community. I spent my first year post-grad working for ENSEMBL as their Content, Community, and Graphic Design Specialist. During my time there I worked on many exciting visual projects, creating thoughtful and innovative content for their social media, blogs, and other visual projects. I was fortunate enough to attend and assist in the planning, installation and execution of an event at a store front in San Francisco! An opportunity which was exciting as it combined all of my skillsets in project management, creative design and curatorial installations. Continuing on this path, I now work as a full-time Content Creator at LMNO Consulting in Saskatoon, as well, as the Social Media Manager for a non-profit organization uplifting Afghan refugee girls, 30 Birds Foundation.I continue to work as a freelance creative and studio artist, experimenting with new ideas while seeking mentorship through various professional artists in Saskatchewan.Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to connect!
