Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for procuring all material required to complete fabrication and assembly to support established due dates given by the Master Production Schedule.• Responsible for procuring all materials, stock transfers etc for Toll Manufactured products (Vetlab, Intec, Novartis, and Cheminova).• Negotiate with Vendors to obtain lowest possible price, with minimum lead time, a high level of quality, and consistent on time delivery.• Develop and implement a… Show more Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for procuring all material required to complete fabrication and assembly to support established due dates given by the Master Production Schedule.• Responsible for procuring all materials, stock transfers etc for Toll Manufactured products (Vetlab, Intec, Novartis, and Cheminova).• Negotiate with Vendors to obtain lowest possible price, with minimum lead time, a high level of quality, and consistent on time delivery.• Develop and implement a Vendor rating system on price, quantity, and quality and delivery performance.• Coordinate with key vendors to buy capacity beyond the lead time fence and to supply them weekly Planning Schedules for their products which coincide with the Master Production Schedule.• Coordinate with the Vendor to request company transport or other type of shipment to ensure that required materials are available to meet the Production Schedule.• Work closely with Operations Manager to understand the total requirements for purchased materials for the Master Production Schedule and for Toll Manufactured products and overseas ordering (Horticulture).• Answering phone calls from time to time during busy customer service periods.• Audit the open purchase orders to ensure integrity on – order material.
