Navigation area:Validate the functionality of software products or the system functionality, according to the specific requirements or specifications by defining, developing, adapting and/ or using manual or automated tests within a predefined project plan considering processes, procedures and testing quality standards.Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:Testing:- Analyze and review test basis.- Develop test cases for functional and non-functional requirements and specifications.- Ensure testing equipment availability (hardware environment and softwareenvironment).- Set up environments according to project planning.- Plan the testing to align with the software lifecycle.- Create and prioritize test suites.- Perform tests according to project planning.- Deliver test reports according to project timing and quality requirements.- Verify and review the test specifications and test reports.- Provide accurate metrics regarding testing activities.Integration:- Verify quality of code before integration in new releases.(Compiler warnings/errors, module test, bug fixing rate)- Create release notes according to QA requirements for every software delivery.- Deliver/Receive packages to/from third parties and ensure integration of the packages in new releases. Automation:- Automate test cases using internal tools.Test Drive- Perform test drives to identify navigation bugs in the real environment.- Perform test drives for GPS firmware integration- Perform test drives for positioning
