Roxane B. Salonen began her communications career as a newspaper journalist, eventually transitioning into writing and editing on an independent basis for various publications, both local and national. In 2008, she started writing a parenting column for The Forum, North Dakota's largest daily newspaper. Her work has garnered awards, including those for her children's stories, columns and feature writing. In 2010, Roxane launched Beauclair Communications, melding 20 years of combined writing, editing and speaking experience. Roxane also worked for nearly three years as a Catholic radio host, soliciting and conducting live on-air interviews.
