In partnership with the community, the mission of the Village of Schaumburg is to provide the highest quality municipal service to our customers through thoughtful planning, fiscal responsibility, and accessible, responsive, and proactive leadership resulting in a continuously improving quality of life.The biggest events of the year that I organize and oversee include the Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon (100-200 attendees), Prairie Plein Air Competition & Show (typically 50 artist participants), Prairie Arts Festival (nearly 10,000 visitors during the two-day outdoor Memorial Day weekend festival), Septemberfest (approximately 250,000 patrons attend the three-day outdoor Labor Day weekend festival), and a Tree Lighting Ceremony (about 500 guests). In my free time, I enjoy pursuing ways that I can offer my time to those in need, hearing about my two son’s adventures, playing tennis and pickleball, catching a ballgame at Wrigley Field, and coming home to my dog, Bailey. At the end of the day, I strive to spread happiness to those around me and do my part to help make my communities where I live and work more enjoyable.
