Over the past 30 years or so, I have assisted clients in finding solutions to a wide variety of antitrust problems including routine pricing and distribution issues (including Robinson-Patman), mergers and joint ventures, trade association activities, threatened antitrust litigation, grand jury subpoenas, civil investigations, and individual and class action lawsuits. Given Baker & McKenzie’s global footprint, I am often asked to address issues and develop compliance programs and training materials on a global basis, which requires that I follow antitrust developments around the world. I regularly perform risk analyses for clients so that they can participate fully in all critical decisions impacting their business. I have in-depth knowledge of the health care and insurance industries and related antitrust issues, and I continue to follow health care reform from the antitrust perspective. I have participated in the leadership of the ABA Antitrust Section for over 20 years. I was fortunate to serve as Section Chair (2001-02) and as Chair of the Task Force on Antitrust Modernization (2003-2007).
