Restoration Administrator
CurrentAs a Restoration Administrator I receive the initial call from a customer in need of our services. I ask them various questions (being sensitive to their situation) so that our crews can provide them with quality service. I then pass that information onto the appropriate team (Water damages and sewer backups would go to the Emergency Response Team Manager and/or Leader; Fire calls, Wind and Storm damage, Vehicle impacts, Vandalism, Break-in, etc. would go to a Project Manager; Mold, Duct Cleaning and Biohazards would go to our CES Department- Compleat Environmental Services). The appropriate team would then follow up by contacting the customer to give them an ETA. Crews are dispatched immediately for any emergency calls. As an Administrator, I also proof the estimate that the Project Manager creates after scoping the job. I then send that estimate to the Insurance Adjuster for approval. After approval, we will draw up a contract for any repair work needed. The scope of work is then passed on to a Construction Coordinator who is in charge of scheduling all work needed. Restoration Administrators are also responsible for documenting all phases of a job; label and attaching pictures to our customer database system, updating notes, updating the customer on the job status, constant communication with the Project Manager, Crews, Construction Coordinator, and Adjuster and/or Agency. I make sure that all departments have the necessary documents needed to perform their job. After the job is complete, I then close the file and send the final billing and all documentation to our accounting department. I will then make a follow up call to the customer to make sure they are satisfied with the services we provided.Restoration Adminstrators also generate various reports to maintain constant knowledge of work flow activites.
