The Regional Rail Revival program is a $1.7 billion joint initiative of the Australian and Victorian governments that will look to upgrading infrastructure across the V/Line rail network including upgrades to stations, signalling and track. As part of the Operational Readiness team I was responsible for consultation with key stakeholders across V/Line with respect to the development of: - V/Line’s business Standard Operational Requirements, - Project specific Operational Requirements, - Impact Statements (assessing Concept Designs for the various work packages),- Preliminary Hazard Assessments. These documents formed the basis of V/Line’s requirements for these projects and form an intrinsic link between user requirements, service delivery, and project development and delivery.Additionally, I was responsible for leading various Project Management tasks including:- Developing Project plan and resource scheduling using Microsoft Project, - Daily worklog updates - Communicating progress with client through weekly reports.

Responsibilities included:• Identifying key stakeholders within team and their communication preferences• Developing a plan of action with the team, including a timeline of tasks/milestones for delivering the bid submission in a tight timeframe• Picking up on the business culture where I have been embedded in a client’s office• Drove outcomes by identifying individual roles and strength areas in assigning tasks and responsibilities for the team in the development of the bid• Liaising with ARENA (the funding partner) using various forms of communication where there were uncertainties in the bid submission• Developing Knowledge Sharing and Risk Management plans aligned with the team’s capacity to meet ARENAs requirements.• Acted on team feedback promptly to ensure maintaining fast delivery of tasks• Developing the bid submission reports and coordinating the final submission of all contents on ARENA’s website in a timely manner• OUTCOME: Flow Power received $2.64 million in competitive round funding from ARENA
