Directly accountable for the planning, development, monitoring and facilitation of recreation and leisure service delivery for a diverse population of residents. Researched cognitive, physical, and emotional wellness strategies and updated programming to align with resident needs and general satisfaction. Managed human resource applications, responsible for securing a full spectrum of workforce, equipment, and supply needs while balancing budget constraints. Remained autonomous to changing needs, promptly attending to unexpected absences, missed shift follow-up, and replacement planning for sick days. Coordinated inbound and outbound correspondence via phone, fax, and email - serving as a professional representative of the organization in all internal and client-facing interactions. Maintained data entry, keeping all documents up-to-date and organized efficiently - recorded and distributed meeting minutes for Resident's Council, activity meetings, and Fall Prevention Committees. Participated in weekly care conferences, facilitated resident council meetings, and attended mandatory in-services, engaging as part of a cross-functional team to maximize service delivery across all functional units. Retained oversight for the financial administration of department funds, monthly activities, and expenses. Prepared documentation for Residents' Admission Assessments, Resident Care Plans, Resident Activity Attendance Sheets, Activity Audits, MDS/RAI coding, RAPS, and associated resident charting.
