I am Occupational Therapist, seeking to better myself and making a difference in the lives of my patients. I currently am working in school based therapy with elementary grade students with a variety of diagnoses including children on the Autism Spectrum, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Developmental Delays. I had been treating hand injuries through St Joseph Hospital in Orange, California for 19 years. I have been trained in Ergonomic Assessments and Principles. FaciIitating injury prevention in the work place. I can perform Functional Capacity Evaulations, and make recommendations for Return to Work status. I have experience in Out patient, In patient, Acute care, Home Health for Pediatrics and Adults and Geriatric care as well as Rehabilitation and Infant Stim programs. I mentor other therapists, COTAs and OT students. I facilitate staff meetings and team building activities.I have experience with Event planning and volunteer management for non profit and community service and church events and projects.I am also a Girl Scout leader.
