Responsible for spearheding strategies to deepen PJCC's culture of philanthropy and maximize giving to support PJCC's mission-driven programs.

Supported organizations and individuals achieve high-impact philanthropy through strategic grants and funding initiatives. Clients include:* Oshman Family JCC, Palo Alto - Crafting persuasive grant proposals and reports for major funders; advising on outcomes frameworks and program evaluation. * The Giving Group Community - Supporting launch of proprietary tech-based philanthropy advising platform to engage multi-generational families and foundations in strategic philanthropy. www.givinggroupcommunity.org

Drove impact strategies to advance justice, ensure safety, and foster resilience of our community. Included oversight of grant portfolio and community initiatives focusing on safety/security, emergency response, diversity/equity/inclusion, human services/wellness, leadership development, youth/teen engagement, advocacy, and global Jewish responsibility. Managed staff team and engaged diverse array of volunteers, funders, and stakeholders to develop impact priorities, craft and strategies, implement grant processes, maximize funding for key initiatives, and communicate effectively about our impact. Provide capacity building support and coaching to grantees, steward deep relationships with community leaders and partners.

Oversight of strategic grants programs and initiatives, including the Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Initiative and Community Security Program; liaison to Jewish organizations in San Francisco and the Peninsula, with a focus on Jewish Community Centers, Jewish Day Schools and synagogues; community convening and planning.

Provided client services and relationship management to individual and family philanthropists through Supporting Foundations and Donor Advised Fund; consulted on strategic grantmaking, multi-generational philanthropy and major gift development.

Stewardship of Regional Impact Grant Committees in the Bay Area Peninsula. Guided research into community priorities and needs, developed Requests for Proposals, trained volunteer committee members on effective grantmaking, and awarded $1M in grants.

Worked closely with the Board of Directors and management team to build community investment in the Center's efforts - including health and wellness, Jewish culture and enrichment, early childhood education, social services, and strengthening Jewish life in our local community.Fundraising efforts included major donor cultivation and solicitation, annual appeals, foundation grants, and corporate sponsorship.
