My animation adventure begins in Cape Town, South Africa, 2012. I chose to study at The Animation School and after three years, I was lucky to receive not just my diploma but an internship with Triggerfish Animation Studios, the best studio (in my own opinion) in South Africa. Here I learned not only about producing excellent quality work, both creatively and technically, but also about good communication and leadership skills. Over the five years that I was apart of the studio, I worked my way up from an internship, to leading my own texturing team and eventually being CG supervisor on the latest Magic Light Pictures Christmas Special, The Snail, and the Whale. At the end of 2019, I was sad to say goodbye to the studio but I decided to leave South Africa and journeyed to France where I joined Dwarf Animation and their talented character surfacing team. I have been enjoying learning from and meeting people from multiple backgrounds, countries, and cultures. And have a new appreciation for the diverse animation industry. I am now looking to find my new adventure and am excited to see where and when it begins.
