As a practice development trainer I have responsibility for the design, delivery and planning of in-house training sessions and participation in delivering external training programmes. I support staff from across ECCH in mandatory and other training topics delivering sessions to registered professionals, supporting staff and other learners.

• To support individuals wishing to quit smoking using evidence based interventions in a wide variety of settings• To facilitate group based clinics following evidence based protocols delivered in various settings across Gt Yarmouth & Waveney• Make recommendations on appropriate treatment to GP’s, hospital doctors and Community Pharmacists following individual assessment. Monitor progress and recommend adjustments to treatment accordingly.• To liaise with GPs, level 2 advisors and others as necessary in relation to the needs of individual clients• To liaise with JPH and provide support to patients awaiting surgery, through a quit attempt • Liaise with and offer specialist support to Level 2 Stop Smoking Advisors through regular communication• Act as a source of professional advice to other professionals on stop smoking issues relating to individual quit attempts to ensure the provision of appropriate information, intervention or support to clients regarding stopping smoking• To support individuals wishing to quit smoking using evidence based interventions in a wide variety of settings• To facilitate group based clinics following evidence based protocols delivered in various settings across Gt Yarmouth & Waveney• Make recommendations on appropriate treatment to GP’s, hospital doctors and Community Pharmacists following individual assessment.
