CurrentBlue Guitar Project (BGP) is a charity that provides disadvantaged teenagers with mind-blowing music dream experiences to inspire and help develop their music careers. BGP started off as a single in-school program in August of 2014 at Key College (Youth Off The Streets), in Sydney, Australia, which was inspired by a homeless teenage boy and an original blue guitar endorsed by Katy Perry.Responsibilities & Accomplishments:❏ Created and established an in-school music education program and student dream experiences.❏ Provided management and guidance to a team of mentors and volunteers who would carry out the mission of BGP through teaching the curriculum to youth being served.❏ Developed a strategic plan and managed systems for measuring impact and outcomes with our education programs.❏ Developed a fundraising strategy and created several initiatives that leveraged relationships with music artists and corporate partnerships to support underprivileged youth with their dream experiences and education programs.❏ Secured program sponsors including Apple, Fender Australia, Nikon, RODE, Sandisk, Seymour Duncan, Australian Institute of Music, Conservatorium of Music, Triple J, Fox Sports TV, IMG Models.❏ Collaborated with music artists who played the original Blue Guitar endorsed by Katy Perry for one song during their concert performances, including Chris Isaak, Engelbert Humperdinck, Steel Panther, The Stranglers, The Superjesus, The Beach Boys, and 27 other artists at Big Pineapple Music Festival.❏ Appeared in a Sky News publicity appearance on 02/2019 and a Sunrise Morning Show appearance on 07/2019.Events Producer, Marketing & Documentarist❏ Apple Fundraising Event❏ America’s Next Top Model Photographer Jez Smith & IMG Models Campaign Photoshoot❏ Fox Sports TV Back Page Studio Event❏ Triple J Morning Show Event❏ Apple Art & Music Event❏ The Big Pineapple Music Festival
