  Operate and monitor several radio frequencies for dispatching Troopers on the Northrop Grumman CAD system. Answer incoming telephone calls on non-emergency lines and 911 telephone, including the Telephone Device for the Deaf (TDD). Send and receive all messages on the NCIC/ACIC computer system which includes, but is not limited to, wanted/missing persons, vehicle information, driver’s license information, entry; and cancellation of stolen property, and administrative messages to in-state and out-of-state agencies. Search the database using the local computer system, Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS), for looking up local warrants for police officers in the field. Very knowledgeable with the geography of the State of Arizona. Knowing the highways, state routes, rest areas, gas stations, port of entries, jails, and the location of all counties, cities and all other agencies that could be available for back-up. Also, very knowledgeable about the location of our Border Patrol checkpoints. We do a lot of interdiction with Border Patrol and have been very useful as a back-up agency.
