Using the SEM for fracture analysis of RBF samples, examining DLC coating defects, identifying debris composition and more.Carrying out flow rate testing of injector nozzles with SonPlas flow rig.Using the measurements and analyses found with the above equipment to compile reports for the development teams.Working with the Materials Team carrying out tensile/compression tests with Zwick testers, HFRR and Karl Fischer titration tests, hardness testing using Qness and Vickers testers, and reporting findings.Qualified Risk Assessor for the Validation Inspection, and Materials departments. Responsible for carrying out PUWER, PPE, Manual Handling, and general risk assessments for both departments. I was fundamental in getting LEV installed in the Materials Department Cutting room.I enjoy the fact that working here has helped with my OU degree studies. Each year, a new module seems to coincide greatly with what I do on a daily basis enhancing my understanding of both work and study. -
