In particular the definition of the Mod Block 2 system/software requirements.June 97 - Dec 01 Nimrod, WartonFrom 1997 I was responsible for the development and support of the Link 11, Link 16 and SHF SATCOM software requirements. This included agreement of interfaces with the sensor suppliers and agreement of technical clarifications with the customer.From 1999 I was also responsible for the maintenance of the overall Software Requirements specification including resolution of outstanding queries.

From 1987 I was Design Authority responsible for the definition and agreement of technical changes with the customer (MoD) for the Royal Navy Sea King MK6 Acoustic System. From 1996 I was the technical authority responsible for the specification of the Software and Hardware requirements and testing Criteria for inclusion of a colour display facility in the Nimrod MR2 Reconnaissance aircraft.During this period I was also a team member of a team generating proposals and system requirement specifications for the Nimrod MR4, Merlin Helicopter and Spanish P-3 Orion aircraft.

From 1983 I was Design Manager responsible for the development of an Acoustic and Tactical system for the Indian Navy Sea King helicopter with a team of 10 system engineers. Responsible for the definition and agreement of the interfaces with the sensor suppliers, agreement of specifications with the customer and definition of the system requirements.From 1981 I was Software team leader responsible for the design development and integration of the acoustics software for the Royal Navy Sea King Mk6 leading a team of 8 programmers.From 1974 I was a software programmer for the acoustic software for the Nimrod MRA2 and Orion P-3C aircraft. This included integration the complete system on the target hardware and 9 month on-site support in Australia.
