I've always just wanted to tell great stories - a passion I've shared over decades with readers of some of Australia's finest newspapers and magazines. Since my cadetship at Brisbane's The Courier-Mail, I've worked for The Age, The Australian, The Bulletin magazine and The Advertiser in Adelaide, with contributor stints for Time Australia, Australian Geographic and The Times of London. I've worked in the federal Press Gallery, covered two Olympic Games, been Foreign Affairs Writer and Washington correspondent for The Australian, and edited SAWeekend magazine at The Advertiser. With historian Dr Carolyn Collins, I co-authored the 2019 book Trailblazers - 100 Inspiring South Australian Women.
