Have you ever heard of the expression “You can’t really know where you are going until you know where you have been?” Well that is how I would describe myself a 48 year old excited adult who is always eager to learn. I’ve learned how to play the game, respect everyone and provide a positive and fun atmosphere, no matter where I am. Give me a challenge, allow me time to read the rules, time to think of a plan and put it into action; and I will provide you the best outcome. When I was a kid, I have always dreamed about running a successful business. I admired my parents who owned their own convenience store, and when I was old enough I began to work their part-time. It was a no brainer that the more I worked there the more I became interested in how the business worked. It also didn’t hurt that as I worked more at the store, my parents encouraged my siblings and I to play games together to challenge our minds, and to learn about strategies when working with people. When playing board games, I realized it had more of an effect on me then I thought. From playing Monopoly, Payday, Game of Life to Scrabble it taught me about the win-lose-draw. I have always loved a challenge, and playing those game with others was fun. It also really began to teach me to play fair with others, and how I can apply that into my customer service roles. To sum up who I am, and to give you the confidence to trust me in your business, you need to know that I am a self-starter, who likes challenges. I am a very curious person who likes to know how things work and strives to learn whenever I can; applying it to making it my own and making the world a little better everyday. I’m fascinated in building teams, and developing and coaching people; whether it is in business, sports (Frisbee golf and Volleyball) or board games.I’ve had various customer service roles, from a bartender, server, restaurant manager and administrative assistant and now I’m really looking forward to another opportunity to succeed in what is positioned in front of me.
