Responsible for the delivery of a number of private sector systems, notably an online automotive retail website and a Medical Solutions and Finance System. The automotive retail site was developed and delivered entirely in Azure using .NET core microservices written in C# and deployed into a mixture of Docker and Azure App services. Personally wrote example prototype code and reference code for the development team. Wrote the OAUTH2/OpenIdentity prototype code which was integrated into the microservices to provide authorisation and traceability. Wrote the code to move all connection strings and sensitive config into Azure keyvault. Wrote a Blob Storage service to allow customers to access their documents via an emailed URL with a short lifetime access key. Personally delivered all Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines. Trained and mentored the agile offshore team in application of the reference architecture for development of the microservices, and in the use of Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines to deploy Infrastructure and Applications. The Hospital Admin system was developed using a .NET core microservice architecture. Leveraged the existing microservice codebase to rapidly implement the core system. Worked with the product owners and an agile offshore team to extend the services to cover all aspects of hospital admin including scheduling and notifications pushed to mobile devices using Azure eventgrid and notification hub.
