• Manage overseas Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) to ensure inventory optimization and coordinate material sourcing.• Serve as escalation point for material expedition.• Work with cross-functional teams (Planner/Production/Order Management) on constraint supply improvement plans and strategies.• Orders and schedules material requirement with suppliers, based on MRP report to ensure smooth production flow and zero downtime to production.• Implement re-schedule programs with suppliers ensuring no past due Purchasing Orders.• Reviews engineering change implementations dates with suppliers.• Tracks and expedite in-bound shipments.• Maintains inventory levels to target.• Locates and develops sources of supply through various levels of contracts with suppliers and potential suppliers.• Direct and / or secures and analyzes price quotations from suppliers.• Arranges and conducts meeting with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Assurance and suppliers on procurement matters.• Prepares, implements and follows up on consignments. Returns rejected vendor material and negotiate with suppliers for replacement of rejected material.• Directs and / or initiates the preparation of purchase orders and selects the vendor to be used.• Prepares reports as required, indicating delivery delays, inventory summary data, etc.• Control excess and obsolete material.• Monitor supplier performance such as hub inventory, responsiveness to forecast, order reschedule and independent demand.• Support NPI Material Readiness and support in Physical Stock take activities.

Manages in-bound supply to Dell's global facilities for third parties, through managing supportability outlook interaction with supply chain planning teams.• Plans and releases purchase orders to secure materials and services on an "as needed" basis.• Identify primary and secondary source suppliers for materials and services.• Submit Request for Quote (RFQ) and analyzes responses on Total Cost of Ownership basis.• Evaluates suppliers' performance (price, on-time delivery, quality, lead-time, TAM) and prepare QBR feedback.• Develops and administers purchasing improvement programs.• Responsible for E&O management and mitigation.• Monitor factory level execution according to allocations.• Develop long-term relationships with senior management of strategic suppliers for materials, services and technology.• Responsible for supply chain management for integrated assembles.• Resolves receiving and invoices discrepancies and manages applicable metric.• Maintain accuracy of procurement database and material return to suppliers on a timely basis.
