I obtained locating experience from on the job training I received from my employment with Savannah Gas Company/Atlanta Gas Light Company. This training and experience dates back to 1986. After deregulation of the gas industry, my job became obsolete. Using my locating skills, I gained employment during 1999 to 2001 working for companies who contracted their locating services to the gas, electric and communciation industries (locating public underground utilities). During this same time, I was self-employed as a locator for a private water company. Currently, I enjoy utilizing my skills in the underground utility locating service I began in 2001.
