Modify manufacturing equipment technology to streamline energy data retention / production logging, as networked to central server. This effort supported the lean manufacturing and six sigma programs. Improved production processes by designing custom tooling, these shortened labor-intensive manufacturing processes to a minimum; Simultaneously improving safety records. Cross-trained support employees to facilitate less down time in production equipment and tooling. Achieved successful corporate 5S audit in 18 months from implementing 5S program. Implemented and maintained the CMMS program, which reduced spare parts inventory by 50%. This supported as improved equipment efficiency and less energy consumption. Performed a demographic and feasibility study for facility relocation. Documented a corporate comparison for buy, lease, or build-to-suit program. Negotiated with investors for purchase and 12-year lease / option program. Prepped 109,000 sf. facility infrastructures to accommodate plant relocation. Successfully relocated the Facility while maintaining production to ensure maximum 3-week process gap.
