As a BBA in Finance studens from HKUST. I am passionate about studying in a broad field in the second market trading area. Aside from class time, I have done research ranging from technical analysis to physiological aspects to enrich my insight into the financial market. I started programming when I was 14 years old, I have a deep touch on programming languages such as Python, and R and frontend languages like HTML, CSS, JS, Node JS, and React.js. It gives knowledge and the ability to study the market programmatic and quantitatively.I got in touch with machine learning when I was 16. Starting from linear regression to K Nearest Neighbor, and lastly the basis structure of the neural network. I have written Python code using basic libraries like Numpy to build some stretch code on solving XOR problems using backward propagation in neural networks.I am also talented in Mathematics and Physics. I have scored 5*, 5* and 5** in mathematics (Compulsory), mathematics (extended M2), and Physics in the HKDSE Public Exam respectively.Bringing these skills into business school. I am passionate about doing backtesting with Python and trying to find statistically significant strategies. I also wrote scripts to capture patterns on the market in the market. Starting from year 2, I learnt about Bloomberg Terminal and I have acquired skills to write formulas (FORM), and study (STDY) to facilitate my research on equity screening (EQS / EQBT). I have used fields with some custom indicators and option volatility to screen out potential equities.
