I have developed a new method for using baby sign language as a parenting tool focusing on communication from birth and specialising in supporting multilingual families.I help mothers reduce crying by focusing on communication with their baby from birth so they have better tools to understand their baby and their baby can express their needs in other ways. This means mums can be the calm, confident parent they want to be. Let's face it - Motherhood isn't always celebrated in the workplace. But becoming a mother got me to where I am today. Having two kids is non-stop. Last night I was up twice with the 3 year old who didn't feel well. I was then up at 6:30 to get my son ready for school this morning. And now I've got my work hat on sorting out school timetabling and assigning teachers. Night or day, I'm me, working hard - that's true of all the mums out there - well done ladies! For four years I taught in Geneva at SL&C Supercomm. This allowed me to specialise in teaching business English in major banks, international organisations and local government. It was here that I first got involved in preparing students for examinations such as the First Certificate, CAE, Proficiency and the BEC business English exams all offered by Cambridge English Language Assessment. I also gained experience with the TOEFL test. There were also projects such as writing language learning material, I wrote the Supercomm A2 coursebook now used by all teachers teaching at that level, and delivering cooking workshops designed to help learners improve their English in a social setting. After teaching several summer classes I remained on call to replace teachers as the need arose.
