As a part of the Class+ tutoring program I created peer-assisted study sessions in which students could all work together on activities in order to learn calculus. My role of tutor was less traditional because instead of tutoring students by telling them the correct answers, I fostered collaboration while guiding them in the right direction. I taught them critical thinking skills and helped developed their abilities to figure out answers to problems on their own.
