Responsible for assisting our unregulated Management teams to define and execute key strategic initiatives to contribute to growth by standardizing product and service offerings around distributed generation and renewable energy. Key team member on the development and acquisition of a 100+MW fuel cell portfolio and development of the strategic alliance to provide energy storage to the portfolio.

Responsible for leading the design engineers in renewable project development and acquisition due diligence. Work the detailed design engineers to review drawings, specifications, environmental reports, contract documents, etc. to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions required to close the deal. Assist Business Development and outside legal counsel in identifying project risk and determining mitigation strategies for EPC and CMA Contracts. Lead the technology evaluation and contractor qualification process for emerging energy storage markets. Lead technology evaluation, commercial risk assessment, and support negotiation for the acquisition of a new projects.

- Manage Construction labor contracts for Alabama Power, Georgia Power, Gulf Power, Mississippi Power, and Southern Power- Develop RFP packages and facilitate the bid process including proposal assembly, contract negotiation, pre-bid meetings, and final award and mobilization of contractors to site.- Manage new contractor prequalifications and compliance- Support efforts in mentoring diverse suppliers

- Manage national sales accounts focusing on the engineering and construction industry- Develop and negotiate contracts - Provide customer service for existing accounts to ensure expectations are met- Establish new accounts for clients seeking engineering professionals on a contract or direct hire basis- Source project professionals through existing database, advertising, Internet, business contacts and direct recruiting- Interview with professional candidates to evaluate their skills and understand their job preferences - Strategize with executive management to accomplish business growth goals

- Identified systems and implemented turnover work process for commissioning facilities.- Managed commissioning activities including: hydro-testing, loop check outs, scheduling, vendor rep coordination, punch-list management, deliverables handover, and final mechanical completion correspondence.- Managed Punch-list activities for turnover of multiple units at Hunt refinery (TIC ~$850MM) and coordinated the completion of punch list with the field construction team- Coordinated the receipt of proper quality documentation for mechanical completion- Fielded engineering questions required for system turnover- Responsible for implementing and maintaining safe work programs onsite- Project details: $950MM expansion at Hunt Refining Company
