Heavy Civil Marine Construction & Dredging Contractor. Rotational schedule: 19 days on 9 off, working as part of a project team of 4-6 field and project engineers to facilitate completion of dredging and beach restoration contract work safely, on time, to spec, and within budget.

Aided in the expansion and systematization of a growing company that produces, packages, markets, and sells delicious and healthy gluten and grain free, low glycemic powdered baking mixes. My roles and contributions with Wellness Bakeries included: - Identifying inefficiencies with our current systems; devising and implementing new systems to help organize, streamline and scale all business processes. - Managing up to 5 employees on our assembly lines during production and packaging shifts.- Handling the logistics of sourcing, procuring, shipping, and receiving all of the ingredients required to produce more than 20 different powdered baking mix products.- Handling all of our customer service inquires daily using GrooveHQ.- Researching and specifying different options for further mechanizing the accurate blending and packaging of our products.- Learning the art of content, e-mail, and super affiliate marketing strategies.

Two semester capstone project, with 6 person team, which included engineering system design, analysis, fabrication, & full scale offshore testing of a scratch built self-submerging buoy system with RF & acoustic signal processing capabilities. 10 week summer internship at a premier research and development Naval Base near Washington DC. Worked with an experienced mentor and two other interns to investigate the practicality and feasibility of incorporating 3D printing techniques into future ship building processes, particularly in regards to overall weight savings, while maintaining structural integrity. Through this experience I gained a strong background in FEA analysis using MAESTRO for Naval Architecture structural analysis using numerous load cases. I also acquired a lot of public speaking experience through numerous dry run presentation critiques and a final project presentation.I passed all the necessary requirements to be issued an interim secret security clearance for this position.

Designed and managed fabrication of a subsea housing for Ocean Visibility & Optics Lab Scientists & Engineers’ Fluorolidar Project. The resulting pressure vessel had numerous wet-mated connections on the aft end-cap, as well as a large circular Plexiglas window on the forward end-cap, and was rated for rated for operation in depths of up to 3000 meters.Through this experience I gained a strong background in Solidworks CAD modeling techniques, as well as public speaking experience through a final project presentation.

Facilitated summer camp program for children ages 7-14 to learn basic sailing skills. Organized and executed weekly sailing regattas, and oversaw entire construction process of wooden Optimist Dinghy.
