Since the age of four, I was raised for leadership. The first most obvious skill I’ve shown in my leadership is being a creative. My time was spent watching project runway and doodling my own designs all day. When I wasn’t doing this, I was creating my own art, jewelry, and putting together my own outfits. Not only being raised with many artists in my family, I was also raised to be generous. I was also raised for business. I would spend days making jewelry with my mom to sell for her business. I’d spend weeks helping her with her nonprofit business as well organizing prom dress drives, putting together garage sales, and donating my best toys and clothes to less fortunate families. I’ve been a planner with a business oriented creative mindset all my life. Since then, I’ve grown up and my passions have remained the same. To give back, take the lead, and be a creative. To be a designer, a giver, and an artist. I now have attended one of the top art high schools in NYC, The HS of Art and Design, in which I learned many skills and achievements including my certification in Adobe, published artworks, fashion shows, and photography showcases. My passion still continues now as I attend another one of the top fashion schools for college. Currently I attend FIDM as a former fashion design major and current merchandising & marketing major in hopes of understanding all sides of the industry. I’ve already learned so much about making flats in Adobe illustrator, draping, and using excel, and I plan on learning more of the business side of the industry so I may soon start my own fashion brand. Since the age of four I’ve been raised to be charitable. Raised for leadership. Raised for fashion, creativity, and business. I’d love to continue this path I’m on and connect with anyone to learn all I can about the fashion design and business industries and sharpen my skills to be a leader.
