- Hands-on experience in designing various Network Security requirements provided by enterprise customers and provide a cost-effective and efficient delivery of the design through a planned implementation approach.

· Hands-on experience with installing, migrating, upgrading and configuring Cisco Security Appliances, namely, Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) on ASA5500-X Series and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) on FPR2100, FPR4100 and FPR9300 series. · Hands-on experience with the configuration and troubleshooting of Firepower Management Center (FMC1000, FMC2500, FMC4500 and Virtual FMC) and using them to centrally manage multiple FTD devices. · Provided proactive support in restoring critical network outage situations for various global organizations (primarily US based) and provided significant contribution in reducing their business & financial impacts.· Experienced in performing technical investigation of the issue and providing a Root Cause Analysis (RCA).· Hands-on experience with configuration of following features of the firewall: IP Routing, NAT, ACL, Failover (Active/Standby), SLA Monitoring, Route Tracking, Policy Based Routing, Modular Policy Framework, QoS, Logging, SNMP, NTP, Single & Multi-Context Modes, Intrusion Policy etc.· Hands-on experience in creation of various Access Control Policies (ACP) to Allow, Trust or Block network traffic based on various parameters like Zones, IP Networks, Geolocation, VLAN Tags, Users, Applications, Ports, URLs, etc. · Familiar with the packet-flow of FTD Firewalls, consisting of the Lina and Snort engines for handling traffic.· Experienced in troubleshooting issues on the firewalls using various network diagnostic tools such as packet-tracer, packet captures, debugs and Wireshark. · Familiar with basic VPN Technologies such as Remote-Access & Site-to-Site VPNs, IKEv1, IKEv2, ISAKMP, etc. · Well-versed with technical documentation related to configurations and troubleshooting steps performed.
