As a Donor Development team member, my role will be to secure ongoing funding for FamilyLife outreaches by fulfilling the interests and passions of current and prospective donors. This will be done by providing prospective and current donors with giving opportunities, encouraging them to give, and assuring that as many as possible are retained and upgraded in their giving and involvement through personal ministry and ongoing relationship cultivation.

Throughout my career, I've held roles that have required donor development, event planning and corporate sponsorships, marketing strategies, communications for internal and external stakeholders, and business development. The thread that weaves it all together: relationships. I enjoy working with mission-centric brands that want to expand their reach and put people first. My professional career includes mid and senior-level roles, business ownership, and volunteering in the nonprofit sector to serve at-risk youth, women, and disadvantaged communities. In my free time, I love to travel, read good books, and take long walks.

Volunteer - Executive Director (Colorado, 2001-2009) for a nonprofit organization of Christian home school families. Quickly grew the organization by 500% within the first 3 years, scheduled 25 classes and teachers for 125 students; and planned two events a year for member families with 400+ guests.

I taught the horse project for 2 years, cake decorating for one, pocket pets for one, and was on various committees to mentor the kids and help with special events and fundraisers for the club.

I served on the Board as Fundraiser Chairman to raise money and plan events to support the vision of Women of Courage, Int'l (WOCI). WOCI's vision was to mentor, encourage, and provide support for the women of Pueblo and El Paso Counties through workshops, special events, and guest speakers. While I served on the board, we held spa days, family day at Mr. Biggs, luncheons, and weekend workshops.

I worked with ladies to enhance their image through makeup, skin care, and wardrobe. As an Image Consultant I taught skin care and nutrition classes, arranged spa days, created a team to provide professional head shots and Artistic Photos, and applied special occasion makeup for brides, bridal parties, prom, and other special events. I offered color analysis services and helped clients create a capsule wardrobe based on their "season" and body type.

I was chosen at only 20 years old to be the Assistant Manager of one of the highest volume Victoria's Secret stores in my region. I led a team of up to 25 staff members under the leadership of my Store Manager. My responsibilities included serving customers, scheduling staff, receiving and stocking new merchandise, floor layout/moves, handling customer complaints and returns, meeting monthly sales goals,interviewing potential new hires, and handling daily cash deposits, and balancing receipts at the end of each day.
